Abstract

Demographic transformations increasingly shape the trajectory of the global economy. Declining fertility, population aging, and uneven demographic transitions are restructuring labor markets, consumption systems, and technological adoption across countries. These shifts influence productivity dynamics, fiscal sustainability, and patterns of global economic power. Integrating insights from demographic economics, labor economics, and international political economy, the analysis highlights demographic change as a structural driver of long-term economic transformation in contemporary economic systems.
