Abstract

Artificial intelligence is accelerating the emergence of adaptive economies by reshaping how organizations, institutions, and ecosystems create, coordinate, and sustain value under persistent uncertainty. This editorial synthesizes the intellectual contributions of this issue by arguing that adaptive capability, rather than technological adoption alone, constitutes the central mechanism through which economic resilience, institutional transformation, and sustainable competitiveness are achieved.
