Peer-Review Process

Directiva: Journal of Corporate and Creative Business Management applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and managerial rigor of published manuscripts. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the evaluation process to maintain objectivity, fairness, and professional integrity.

Initial Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the Editorial Team to evaluate scope alignment with the journal, baseline methodological soundness, originality (including plagiarism screening), and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.

Double-Blind Review Procedure

Each manuscript passing the initial screening is assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on practical relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of argumentation, contribution to applied management knowledge, and implications for corporate and entrepreneurial practice. Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations to support editorial decision-making.

Editorial Decision Flow

Based on reviewer reports, the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor will issue one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision
  • Minor revision
  • Major revision
  • Reject

Authors are expected to submit revised manuscripts within the timeframe specified by the editorial office. Revised submissions may be returned to reviewers when necessary to confirm that concerns have been adequately addressed.

Reviewer Ethics and Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, provide objective and constructive feedback, declare any potential conflicts of interest, and avoid using unpublished material for personal research or advantage. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical standards in peer review practices.

Final Acceptance and Publication

After revisions are completed and approved, manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and final publication through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The editorial team works to ensure the final published version meets the journal’s quality standards and supports clear communication to academic and practitioner audiences.
