Intelligent economies are transforming how organizations allocate authority, develop expertise, compete for market access, commit capital, and manage systemic risk. Synthesizing six conceptual contributions, this editorial examines uncertainty as an endogenous consequence of technologically mediated decisions. It advances an integrated perspective on strategic governance, capability sustainability, institutional legitimacy, and economic interdependence, emphasizing the organizational conditions under which artificial intelligence creates value without compromising accountability, adaptability, or resilience.
